Please note: This is incomplete as it is a deeply upsetting thing to have to actually make these distinctions which seem obvious.
The distortions from the left made this necessary. I just hope that that we can all reset here, in the middle. For goodness sake’s y’all.
- Minors: In general, minors under the age of 16 (minimum) should not be allowed to receive hormonal replacement therapy nor have affirming surgery. Period. Why?
- It is impossible to determine whether or not a child is trans.
- Being transgender/transsexual inherently involves feeling gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is the negative side effects caused by the mismatch between someone’s mind, body, and how the rest of the world interacts with you.
- Someone can only decide if they are transgender/transsexual after puberty because people do not fully experience that gender until after puberty.
- “But what about all the suicide?” Yes, indeed. Let’s focus on providing children and their parents a way to support kids’ mental health, improve kids’ connection with their community, and give them the tools they need to be able to cope with any feelings of gender dysphoria and the tools to decide for themselves, once they’re old enough.
- Respect: True trans women do not use the female restroom until they are passable as women. Why? Because true trans women have some respect for women and some dignity for goodness sakes. Yes, it sucks when you’ve been on hormones for a hot minute, sometimes months and months and even years, but until you are at a point in your transition where you can walk into a women’s restroom and not cause people to feel uncomfortable, you shouldn’t. True trans women know this and respect this. The overwhelming majority of us wouldn’t even go near a women’s locker room, especially if we haven’t had surgery down there. For goodness sakes.
- Trans lesbians. Trans lesbians are problematic and concerning. In a traditionally male way, they have dominated the conversation and endangered real trans women simply in order to satisfy their sexual fantasies. Sick. When this site refers to just “trans” people, that excludes trans lesbians. Why? There’s good evidence for this.
- Trans lesbians are not really trans. They are men who have a fetish and they need serious help.
- These are the dudes with beards and a dress that claim they’re trans.
- True trans women support real lesbians but are not lesbians.
- Nonbinary. Nonbinary people are not trans. If they feel gender dysphoria, they wouldn’t be nonbinary. Look at any lived experience of trans women before the last 5 years of clowntown. Not a damned one is “nonbinary,” whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean. They used to call that “gender queer” or whatever, which is cool #toeachtheirown. But nonbinary people are not trans. They just want attention and every single thing they do in the name of “the trans community” does real harm to genunine trans people, especially trans women. Their selfishness, which harms the advancement of genuine trans people, directly contributes to the real, tangible harm we face.
- Legal documents:. True trans women who have undergone hormone therapy and/or surgery should be able to have their legal document sex marker reflect their change. It should require a history of medical treatment and certification from a panel of medical professionals.
- Sports. True trans women generally aren’t sporty. Some are, but, we also are the ones who have been using the restroom and no one has noticed because we’re respectful and mindful of other women’s experiences. That includes sports. If someone has gone through male puberty in any way, no, sorry. Get on your own team, not the women’s team.
- Medical and psychological authorities should be given resources to develop ways to support the families of children struggling with identity as it relates to gender, develop good coping skills, and be able to make informed decisions once they’re able to make those decision for themselves, as adults.
